3D Print Models for the DJI Spark Drone (Free)
In this post, I'll show you 11 ways you can upgrade your DJI Spark* with objects from the 3D printer. Have fun reprinting!
DJI Spark Gimbal Protection Cover
With a camera drone, a functioning camera is of course very important. A gimbal is very sensitive and with this gimbal protection cover you now have the possibility to protect camera and gimbal. The designer wookie_666 even thought of the dji logo to make everything look right.
Propeller holder
If a drone's propellers are not secured, they can easily get stuck and if you're unlucky, break quickly. To counter this, the designer calljoe has developed a propeller holder for the DJI Spark, so that the propellers are always in one position and can not easily get caught.
DJI Spark Remote Stick Guard
Even though this drone can be controlled with gestures, remote controls are essential for long-distance flights (allowed within the legal limits). The sticks of the remote control hang out and are not necessarily suitable for use without a bag, etc. With your 3D printer you can now print a protection for which you would otherwise have to pay about 7€ on Amazon*.
Propeller protection
Although a drone pilot should fly carefully, dangerous encounters with living creatures can still occur. To protect yourself, other people, animals and also the drone, this propeller guard from hisashilmal are suitable.
Landing gear
With this landing gear from jhon827, the DJI Spark stands higher and can therefore be launched and landed on uneven surfaces or grass and sand.
DJI Spark Case
Want to transport your drone safely while putting your own stamp on it? Then print out this case from quix in different colors and stand out with your drone before you even launch it.
Antenna upgrade
Antennas have always been upgraded somehow to provide better reception. What was then the Pringles can for WLAN antennas, is now this design by Acricorsa for the antennas on the Spark remote control.
Hand protection
The Spark can take off from your hand and land in your hand. To make these operations as safe as possible, the designer youngwing has designed a kind of protective grid.
Print, attach and be safer.
Raft upgrade landing and launching on the water
Want to be able to land your drone in the water without having to search for it in a wetsuit? Then print out this raft upgrade from modelsport and also attach styrofoam balls. This allows the Spark to land and take off on the water.
GoPro mount
The Spark's camera isn't bad, but why not use a better camera if you can?
With this mount for a GoPro you can make beautiful recordings in a higher resolution.
Sunshade for large smartphones
Almost all screens have this problem: If the sun is shining, you can see almost nothing. For this there is then sunscreen to buy, or print. This one is especially suitable for large smartphones. If your drone is blue, why shouldn't your sunscreen be blue too? 😉
Have a good flight!
